Furious. UPS guy. What would you do?
I am still shaking.
I just ran to my office to pick up my paycheck (literally takes seconds to run in and out). My office is in a busy lot near a popular park where a lot of people were out today, so there were not ample spots.
I parked in the lot with DS, not really paying attention.
Well, our UPS delivery guy was parked sideways in a bunch of spots. He comes over and I'm thinking he's going to say hi to me and DS.
Dude literally starts screaming and CURSING loudly at me in front of DS , calling me a stupid fluckin' ***** and what the hell is wrong with me, why didn't I park in a different spot, it's going to be hard to get out, blah blah blah.
I was literally in shock. I got my bearings and told him to stop yelling and cursing in front of my DS.
He's going off waving his hands like an idiot, still using the F bomb in front of DS.
At that point, maybe I was being a b!tch but I took DS in my arms and said now you can wait dude. I'm not moving my car.
By the time I came out (literally a minute later) he was gone.
He didn't do anything to my car which was my next thought.
Should I report this dude? Who flies off the handle like that, especially in front of a child.
My only concern is that I will probably run into him again.

You HAVE to report him. Please. Think of this man DRIVING. If he can act like this while parked, he is a huge danger while on the road.

 Oh, I'd ABSOLUTELY report him! I wouldn't be too worried about seeing him again because I'd hope he wouldn't have a job after I spoke to UPS. They shouldn't be employing such a lose cannon. If he went that bazerk over a parking job, what would he do if there was a real road rage incident? The fact that you had your child with you makes it 100 times worse. Wow.

Thanks ladies.
I was questioning myself but it was not like I PURPOSELY parked there to block him in. And for all I know he was still delivering packages.
It was an honest mistake and I would've moved my car until he opened his mouth.

Yes report him!! Another nut Job driving around and shame on him for cursing in front of your son!!!
This happend to me when we were in North Carolina. I was 7 months preggo and was walking in a paking lot crossing and this woman UPS driver comes flyingdown the aisle and almost hit me I couldnt move fast enough..we my mom yelled out slow the hell down my daughters pregnant and she slammed on her breaks and reversed and said whats your problem and my mom said slow down your in a parking lot and you almost hit my daughter well boy did that driver go off told us to fluck off and get out of the way next time!! My moms mouth dropped and then we followed the driver across the street where she was making her next deliver and got the number off the truck and reported what had just happened..well UPS was not happy I can tell you that!!

Yes, I would absolutely report him and I would do it right away, while it's still fresh in your mind and they know that he was just at that location (GPS and all)..

Well I just got off the phone with the main headquarters. The woman on the other end of the phone (really deep Southern accent  ) sounded shocked and would not stop apologizing.
I told her that sometimes I would let things like this go, but the fact that he was in his uniform and I had my young child with me left me very uneasy. Who knows what this dude is capable of?
I had to give my full name and place of business, which makes me uncomfortable, but it is what it is.
The lady said she was going to have someone from the local site contact me within an hour.

omg glad you reported him and so sorry you had to deal with that- especially with your ds!
I just don't understand people- if he wanted you to move so he could get out easier, he probably could have accomplished that by asking nicely. When will people learn that you get shyt when you act like a jerk/

Good for you. You should see if you could get a different driver for your location.
I'm not saying this is the norm for all drivers, but out of 6 I've known well in my 20 years of working in offices, only 1 wasn't completely full of himself.
My current UPS driver said that they intentionally damage overweight packages to "teach people a lesson". He struts around like he owns the place and he's merely tolerating us. I wish I was exaggerating.

Ugh... I don't understand some people... I'd be so grateful to have the job... My ups guy is phenomenal. Very personable and all around awesome. Wish they were all like him!

Thats so bizarre right? WTH is it about putting on UPS uniform that would make one become so cocky? A UPS uniform doesn't exactly scream power and prestige to me  Not that there's anything wrong with working for UPS... but its *just* another company out there.
To the OP - good for you for reporting that psycho.

I don't get it either.
I used to date a guy who worked his way up in the company from a P/T loader to making over 6 figures in the corporate office in his 20's.
This was in the 90's and it was hard to get into the company back then.
I can imagine the people who would love to have a job like this.
He's just a cocky guy, looks to be in his late 40's who probably thinks he's untouchable.

Yeah and now he's a cocky guy who will have his ass reemed by his boss and he'll most likely be facing some disciplinary action.  He should have thought about THAT before he acted like a sh!thead.

Do you have security cameras in your lot? I'd definitely park within view of the camera from now on. Someone like that is going to want to get even.
