Furniture and Hardwood floors
Those who have hardwood do you have anything under the furniture so it wouldnt scratch the floor? We are getting the flooring done within the month and was wondering if I should get something for under the kitchen table/chairs, coffee table etc.

I have Pergo, but I'm obsessed with not getting any scratches (Pergo is only scratch resistant, not scratch proof), so I have little thick felt pads on the bottom of all my furniture pieces.
You can get them at Bed, Bath & Beyond.
come in all diff. sizes, too

Re: Furniture and Hardwood floors
I don't have anything under my furniture, but then again I married the floor guy so I can get my floors redone whenever I want! But the only place I notice it is underneath my dining room chairs since that is furniture that gets pulled out a lot.

Re: Furniture and Hardwood floors
yes, we have those felt pads too. mostly under small stuff that can easily be moved. however, we don't have it under the tv stand and my Dad moved it to work behind it and made a big scratch in my floor. i recommend putting them under everything, just in case.

I'm jealous!!!! Does he have any recs for preventing scuffs (and we don't even wear shoes in the house). Or what cleaning method? I currently vacume, dry pad dust, & use the omop. I have sealed real wood floors.
I use the pads shown above.
