Furniture Spin Off (re: cost)
Just wondering what ppl are spending on their nursery furniture. Although I LOVE what we ordered, I think it was a bit much. We got a crib (that will convert), a long dresser, a tall dresser, an armoire, the "changing table kit" and a mattress. With delivery, assembly and tax, it came to just over $4K. I know it is of GREAT quality and will be able to be used for a long, long time. Just curious what the going rate is. It is from Behr's (Young America, I think in the brand). Poll for those that don't want to share (and if you don't mind sharing, what pieces did you get?).

I just clicked the up to $2000 option but now I'm thinking with delivery and taxes it might go over that. Luckily FIL is paying!

I just ordered the crib for $280 or so. I'll get a full sized dresser to use as a changing table as well, but I refuse to spend more than $400 on that. That's all I am buying....I already have a glider from my first son.

My in-laws are paying for the nursery stuff. We got a crib and mattress for less than 400 at Behrs. We got the Murine Chloe crib. I ordered a best chair glider recliner from BBB. We had a dresser, bookshelf, and night table from my furniture growing up that we are using( we got a crib that matches).

we spent 2900 on 2 cribs, a long dresser and a tall dresser including tax and delivery
our biggest concern was to get good quality dressers so they will last a long time!

We are re-using DSs furniture, since he will be moving into a bigger room.
His crib was around $300, the dresser (with changing table top) was about the same. Our friend gave us a glider and that was it!

Our crib, mattress and one smaller dresser was 1486 with delivery at Behr's.
We got our glider for 170 from diapers.com (they matched Walmart's price.)
