Game Of Thrones - 4/28 - show spoilers
So for all of you that were a little confused about Sansa last week, I think they made it pretty clear what's gonna happen! I love the scenes with Tywin, Cersei and Tyrion. They're all so deliciously bad in their own ways.
Anyone feeling more pity for Jaime now?

Game Of Thrones - 4/28 - show spoilers
I loved the scene with Jamie and Brienne in the bath when I read it in the book and I LOVED how they did it in the show last night.
I'm such a huge fan of the books and I am constantly amazed at how well the show is done. I can only hope that the adaptation of Outlander for a series is done as well as GoT!!

Re: Game Of Thrones - 4/28 - show spoilers
OK before getting into anything else...
Jon Snow and Ygritte!!!!!! HOT HOT HOT. Love that scene, love them. Their storyline is perfect for the romantic in me. I turned to DH (who has read the books, I haven't) and said "I hope one of them doesn't die soon. I would like this to last a while. I want more sex scenes." That was an amazing, sweet, sexy scene.
I am starting to feel for Jamie. Also a fabulous scene. And Arya and her friend melt my heart, too! A lot of heart melting last night.
Dani continues to be badass. I feel so badly for Sansa despite hating her in season 1....BUT I will say I do think this is positioning Tyrion to align himself with the Starks down the road (speculation - haven't read the books). And Cersei got what's coming to her. *****.

Re: Game Of Thrones - 4/28 - show spoilers
I still do not feel bad for Jamie. Do I understand his role as the Hand of the mad king, yes. But, he's still a sister fuc&er and he pushed Bran out of the tower. He can rot for all I care.
I'm SO GLAD Cersi has been forced to marry the gay Tyrell. Whether she goes through with it will have to be seen. DH & I think she will try to have him murdered. I think Sansa will run off with a little Finger, unfortunately. Meanwhile Tyrion would've probably helped her get back to her family seeing as he has such a bad taste in his mouth for his own family. Their Father is so diabolical I love it.
Those Jon Snow scenes were so hot. I did turn to DH and said "I can't imagine how those two smell, how anyone had sex back then is beyond me."
I started to get teary when Aryia asked if her father could be brought back to life despite his head being cut off.
ETA: what's with that Borathian daughter, was she burned or is she like part dragon/lizard?!?! That whole scene with the preserved fetuses are stuff that nightmares are made out of!

ITA!!!
Anyone else get chills hearing Shireen (Stannis's Daughter) sing those creepy songs? I guess they did away with Patchface but they're just going to make the rest of Staniss's family weirder. I literally yelled out when I say Celise with all the preserved babies. Seriously, that was THE FREAKIEST thing I've seen so far on this show. Its going to haunt my dreams. I don't remember that from the books.
I think they're doing the storyline immense justice this season. I know they're skipping over alot of stuff but they've really hit the nail on the head of the parts they've included!

In the books, she had a disease as a small child called Greyscale. Think like smallpox, but instead of leaving pockmarks behind as a disfigurement, it leaves the skin looking like rock.

this may be asking a LOT but can someone who really has a good understanding of the series give a very brief recap so far? I've watched the series since day 1 but am constantly feeling like there are holes. I sometimes have a hard time keeping family/charachters straight.

Re: Game Of Thrones - 4/28 - show spoilers
I feel like I need to wait until the end of the series and just watch every episode in a row all at once, because they show so little of each storyline in every episode that I forget what is going on from one week to the next, and I know I've forgotten half of last season too.
I LOVE Jon Snow, and I also love him with Ygritte. But I also wondered about how nasty they must smell. You'd think they would take a bath FIRST.
And I am starting to kind of like Jaime. I know he has done a lot of bad things, but he does have a heart. He feels very real to me and I was drawn to him in last night's episode. I'm sure that will change again though.

Re: Game Of Thrones - 4/28 - show spoilers
I agree that the dead children were really jarring and I really was not expecting that. I suppose the whole point of that scene was so you understood that poor Stannis has a wife that is not all there and hasn't been able to give him an heir, a daughter with disfigurement, is not taken seriously as an authority figure by anyone, and lost a major battle. To explain why he is so eager to buy what Melisandre is selling.

I'm right there with you. I love the show, but feel like so many of the names sound the same and so many of the faces look the same to me. I feel like I need to watch the show with a cheat sheet

Awesome episode. I do love how they are going with the Sansa/ Lannister plot. I have to watch the ending again, I did not noticed the patchface song.

Go to HBO.com. They have a list of all involved and what family they belong too. There are so many people, it is hard to keep track of. Reading the books have helped me tremendously. Have you looked at "inside the edition" on hbo.com. It's really good as they give you a background on what's happening.
