Gastroenterologist question/Reflux

Maybe someone knows. If anyones kids went for this issue ( older child/toddler)...how do they diagnose it? What tests do they do?

It was suggested we see one as Noah had reflux as a baby and now b/c of his poor eating, they want to rule out that the reflux has not returned.

On another note- for those whose toddlers/children have refux what are the signs?

my son had a ph probe put down his nose....he was supposed to wear it for 24 hours, and we had to press the button when he ate, and when he had an episode...it lasted 30 minutes the first time before he pulled it out...and the I put socks on his hands, and it lasted about 3-4 hours until he pulled it out, and there was nothing I could do because the drs office was closed


hes already on the higest dose medicone appropriate for his age though

eta: Chase was about 6 months when he had this done
