GD girls the first time around...with a question about those pregnant with #2

If you had GD with your first baby, when did they make you take the glucose test the second time around. I have my test next week at 10 weeks....

my one dr gave me a script to take it with my bloodwork when i found out i was pregnant....i went back like 2 weeks later (prob around 8 weeks) and hadnt gone for the bloodwork yet only bc in the beginning of htis pregnancy i was so hungry it was ridiculous and there was no way i could fast...the dr i met that time knew my numbers from the gd the first time and i had barely failed so he told me not to worry about taking it until further along..at 28 weeks just took it last friday..and hoping by some miracle i passed this time!

I had to take mine at 18 weeks and I passed

My doctor make me take it again at 29 weeks and again I passed.

Yes, I had to take my GTT at 10 weeks, and then again at 26 weeks.

I passed my early glucose test, and then failed my 1 hour at 26 weeks, by 5 points.

I was given the option to just go on the GD diet and test 4 times a day or take the 3 hour. Since it was only 5 points, and I was actually really sick the day before with the stomach virus, I opted to take the 3 hour and passed.

No GD this pregnancy.!

Good luck. I had a really difficult time with the early glucose test because I had awful morning sickness.
