Gel manicure doesn't last...
Anyone have this issue? Got a gel manicure on Thursday last week at it was already peeling by Tuesday. I was hoping to get at LEAST a full week out of it.

Same with me, by the 4th day starts peeling then I start peeling them all off lol. I only do Gel is I am in rush and can't sit there to dry nails.

I find it depends on the brand of gel polish they use. My regular place I was getting 2 weeks out of it but switched to a place by house, besides growth, I have no chips after 4 weeks.

Yea, try a different brand! Also, make sure they are filing your nails a bit before applying the base coat, it helps to keep it on.

Gel manicure doesn't last...
My gel wasn't lasting. I recently got the SNS powder gel- 3 weeks strong no chips no cracks. I love it. It's your regular nails but feels as hard as acrylic and it's amazing.

i've been wanting to try this. let me know how it is when they take it off. b/c I thought the girl at my place told me its a little rough taking off (rougher than a gel mani that is,)

I've had a few different kinds and they all peel within days. My nails just don't like to hold onto ANY kind of polish - and I know it's not the gel because I had a gel pedicure and that lasted forever, same as regular pedicures do for me.

Cnd shellac brand lasts 2 weeks on me and never chips. I have to remove it due to grow out before it even chips

My mom has been getting it done for a few months. When we went and got it done- my first time. She was getting hers off and new polish on. The polish was easier to come off. No more scraping off. It slides off with a soak rather than the soak and scrape with a regular gel
