Gel manicure questions
I am going for my first gel manicure tommorrow and was wondering which brand is best and what the difference between them are?

I don't really know the difference. Everyone told me to always get Shellac.

i think the application matters more than the brand. and it's most likely that the salon only has one choice

My salon has every brand of gel. The shellac comes off the easiest and does less damage than any other brand. The only reason I don't always get Shellac is because I am not crazy about the color selection.

I love the CND Shellac.
It lasted really long and never once wrecked my nails.

As a nail technician I prefer CND Shellac. Which is a hybrid, its not a true gel. No buffing is needed, so it is a lot less damaging to the nail. I also find it lasts long. I know another tech who has tested out almost every brand and found Shellac to be her favorite.

One of the reasons CND has a smaller color selection (although they are expanding, 2 new collections just came out) is they have the ability to layer two colors to create new shades.

I am also a fan of shellac.
