Gender Announcement ideas...

Does anyone have any good Gender announcement ideas?? My DH's family has a party after the 20 week sono to announce what the baby is. Usually, each guest will bring a gift for a boy and girl and gift you which ever applies. The hard part is thinking of a creative idea to announce what it is. We have a daughter that is 23 months, so i can try to incorporate her, but i dont really know how.

Any suggestions????

What about the cake idea?

Have the sono tech write either BOY or GIRL, whatever she determines it is, on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. Give the envelope to the person/place making the cake, still sealed. They will open it and either put blue or pink icing in the middle of the cake, depending on if it's or written on the paper! Then you can cut the cake with your whole family and you will all find out together... unless you want to know right then at the u/s.

You could have the party and have your daughter in a pink or boy shirt that said' "I'm the big sister". You can have her wear a little jacket or sweater over it and she can do the big reveal.
