Gender at 16wks.. what are the odds of finding out?
I'm getting a sono on Thursday at 16wk,2d!!
Think it's pretty likely I'll be able to know the gender?!   I am SO excited to find out and up until this point have predicted that will be the day!!!

I think they can tell but some techs wont say good luck hopefully you'll get lucky

Good luck! Let us know what happens! My bff who is an ultrasound tech wants me to come in and see if she can tell us the sex. Im 17 weeks 2 days tomorrow and if when you go they can tell you the sex I might just go and have her take a look!

I think they should be able to guess. Hopefully you will have a cool sono tech.

It's possible. We found out at 14 weeks that there is definitely a boy. They are 95% sure the other is a girl.

They should def be able to tell the sex at 16 wks. We were expecting to find out but the baby was breech at that time.

They can technically tell at 16w if LO cooperates, but many techs don't like to guess until 20w.
For our 16w sono, LO was being very stubborn, but we found out a few days later thanks to my SIL who is a sono tech.

Dr. El Kady will be coming in at the end of the apt to go over everything and all you have to do is ask her and she will tell you.

Thanks, I had a feeling she would.. I just hope the baby is in a good position!! At 14wks Eileen tried to find out but the baby had his/her legs crossed!  I have another appt with her at 18wks and she said at that point the baby should be big enough to tell the gender even if it's in a bad position- so I'm hoping the same holds true for my 16wk appt!!

My sono tech told me she found out what her son was at 10 weeks 6 days! She said he wasn't shy at all I guess boys are easier to tell...

I asked at 12wks and 14wks but the baby wasn't in a good position I told my DH I wish our baby wasn't such a prude!! I know I will be taking that back one day!!!!!!
