Gender guess at 12w
Was anyone told girl at 12w to later find out it was a boy? Thanks!

I know people who were told girl and it was a boy. I don't think it's common to be told boy and it be a girl. If it's there, it's there kwim lol
So does this mean three girls?

If the sono tech is right, yup! Of course I will be happy with a healthy baby, but was really hoping for the boy this time around! We are NOT going for #4!!!

Yes! I was told girl at 12w. I knew she was wrong! I already had 2 girls and felt completely different. We had the same tech at 19 weeks. She said what did I tell you last time, I said girl, she said well I was 110% wrong!!! Its a boy! I knew it!

Lucky you! My first two pregnancies were totally different, and they were both girls. This pregnancy feels like my last pregnancy. I also always had a feeling it was a girl, but trying to convince myself me and sono are both wrong!

I always wondered if her knowing we had 2 girls already steered her guess. We would have been happy with a girl also as long as the baby was healthy but I can tell you that when she said boy I could not stop shaking! Good luck. Happy and healthy pregnancy to you!

I've known a few people that were told girl at 12-13 weeks and then at the anatomy scan it turned out to be a boy!! I think 12 weeks is super early for them to tell! The sono tech I had at my 12 week sono wouldn't even say anything about gender that early on! I had my 16 week sono the other day and it was a girl!

I was told Girl at 12w and it WAS a girl. I go to Great Neck OB/GYN and it was Dr Grossman who told me she was 80% sure and was right (in case you see them too I know they are popular  )

I know of a number of tech guesses at 12w that were wrong. By 16w, I don't know of any that were wrong.

With my first pregnancy the tech said boy at 12 weeks - as an "educated guess" as she put it because it was still too early - and she was right. I didn't even ask for a guess this time around.

She got a very clear shot between the legs and said there is nothing there. Obviously it is early, but she said if it were a boy she would see something, and she saw nothing.
