Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the sex organs develop around week 12? There may be nothing to see yet.
I DEFINITELY saw my boy's bits at 12 weeks during my nuchal US (my OB asked we wanted to take a look for the sex). Was shocked that we could tell the sex so early, but saw penis & 2 testicles clear as day.
He never was able to clearly tell me with my girl... kept saying he wasn't sure but he guessed girl. We found out at 20 weeks.
