gender guesses

so i was reading somewhere that 71% of women are correct when asked to guess the gender of their baby. i thought it was pretty interesting and was just wondering what everyone else's experience was.

were you right with your guess?

if so, when did you start to have a strong feeling one way or another?

I have no inkling whatsoever. I know what I would prefer-- but, it doesn't feel one way or another to me.

I was very wrong I thought we were having a girl and its a boy.
I was about 1000% convinced.


However, a couple of weeks and days leading up to my level II I had multiple dreams about boy baby announcements with one of the names dh and I were then arguing about on them. This will likely be the name of our little man!

I am one of the 29% also I was sure it was a girl ....

I even bought paint for the nursery.....

A soft lilac.....

Thank God I didn't make DH paint the room.... It is a boy....

I'm also in the minority. I thought I was carrying a girl for 5 months. We are having a boy.

I was right with #1 , wrong with #2 and right with #3 .

I'm one for two on mine.

The first I was positive from the beginning -- I almost fell off the table when the sono revealed my little .

This one I knew from the start. My son kind of fooled me, though, because he kept insisting it was a baby girl (BTW he's still insisiting that he's getting a sister). But the sono confirmed that it is indeed a . So I was right with this one.

I always thought in my gut I was having a boy, which I am.

I actually didn't start thinking girl until people said "I think you're having a girl"

I said BOY from the beginning. I saw his peen first on the monitor during the Level II. I was right. (no surprise )

I was sooo sure I was having a girl that at the 12 week sono when the dr said he thinks it could be a boy, I said flat out to his face, I think you're wrong, I kept saying that to everyone that you'll see its a girl...20 week sono, confirmed three times it's a girl, and then one at 32 weeks too still a

I just "knew" from the moment the doctor said I was pregnant that I would have a . We didn't find out the gender but in the end I was right.

i was wrong with BOTH my pregnancy.

i swore my DD was going to be a boy and nope girl.

this time i swore i was having another girl (probably would have bet my life on it - thats how sure i was) and wrong!!! we are having a boy!!!!!

I thought I was having a girl, then I did Intelligender, which said boy, totally threw me off! I was so convinced that I was having a boy.
