Genetics testing
DH and I are going for genetics testing tomorrow after getting word that our pathology results on my missed m/c last month showed 92 chromosomes xxyy a rare condition. I know it takes about 2 months to get the tests back and from what I've read there's nothing they can do to help if we do have some genentic issue. My question is how much blood do they take? I have another doctors appt. for a second opinion with Dr.Braverman tomorrow and he will most likely want us to have blood taken too, and I'm sick on top of everything, so I'm a little concerned with having all of that blood taken. Plus I have AF so that's more blood loss on top of all the tests.

Have you considered doing PGD on your embryos?

Same here...and I had results in 2 weeks, not 2 months.

Two weeks would be great because we would like to get on with a FET this cycle!

DH and I talked about it but when I told him the cost he wasn't too happy. The pathology report says that it is an unusal finding and that it is unlikely we would have this happen again. We have four frozen and my RE said 3 of the 4 would most likely survive the thaw. At this point, I'm feeling like put them all back in and let's see what happens.

The price is definitely a downside... but one thing to just consider is that typically a 21yr old donor (so someone you would think would have the best odds) have half come back normal. Of course you and your doctor will figure out what's best, but that may be one thing to consider... or get some genetics counseling as an extra opinion! Good luck!!

Re: Genetics testing
I can't remember the exact amount I had taken, but it was quite a lot. It only took 2 weeks for my results. I have not heard it taking so long. I hope you get the results quickly.
