Anyone do this, know someone who has? How was your experience? What agency did you go through on long Island?

I do not believe there are agencies on LI. You will have to go out of state due tot he laws here.

it is illegal in NY unless they are friend/family, you must go out of state

Gestational surrogate?
I know two women who have done this. One was the subject of a New York Times Sunday Magazine cover story some years ago. Perhaps you can google it. The other did it on the West coast.

My coworker used a surrogate to have her son about 1.5 years ago. She went through a private agency out of state and I think the surrogate lives in Texas. The price is the biggest hurdle, around $100-250K when its all said and done.
