Getting laid off Wed. having a little anxiety

14+ yrs w/the company and they throw

me out like the trash. I feel like I have

been told to "get your own ride home"

I feel disappointed, sad, confused,used,

excited all at the same time.

Im 38, 2 kids and a wonderful b/f who

told me "its gonna be ok". Will it?

I'm so sorry. It may be hard for a little while but just remember that everything happens for a reason. Try to see this as an opportunity to find something new or explore different options.

haven't posted on this board yet but saw yours and wanted to respond. . I just got laid off in Dec when i was 7 months pregnant (due this week) and yes it SUCKS. . similar to you I feel like I put so much into that company and then just got tossed out. . but hang in there - it will totally be okay.. have to have faith in that. . get on unemployment as fast as you can and try to have patience and faith. . it took me about a week to stop crying and still have ups and downs but you will DEF get through this.. feel free to FM me if you ever want to vent!
