getting ready for baby vent!

Ive been home now from work since last tuesday and Im really trying my best to get things in order. Maybe im "nesting" or something! I even cooked a broccoli cheese quiche and froze it for when DD arrives. Ive been having contractions non stop for 3 days with no regular pattern. Just lots of back pain and period cramping. I called my dr. yesterday and she said not to go to the hospital unless they get 5-10 min. apart and last about a min long. They def. last about a min... just are not regular..no bloody show or loss of mucus plug... I think Im getting frustrated with feeling like this and I just want this baby out!!! Sorry for the vent, im just over this and my dr. thinks ill be going early too.. im just anxious and waiting for a tell tale sign of labor..oy.

you're almost there!!!

Definitely avoid getting to anxious and showing up to the hospital too early... you'll just be sent home

Just think of all those contractions as your muscles strengthening for the big event!

I'm totally there with you. I've been having contractions for weeks now but the last few days they've gotten really uncomfortable. My DH keeps pushing me to call my OB when they get painful but I know she'll tell me the same thing- wait at home until they are 5 minutes apart for an hour. It's so frustrating the waiting game.

*sigh* Soon enough these DC will be here.
