Getting wood floors done - recco & do I have to move ALL my furniture out?

My bed was put together in my bedroom, there's no way we could move it out to have the floors done. It's about 1/3 the total space of the room.

Do you think they could just do one side, move the bed, do the other? Does anyone have someone they LOVED? Thanks!!!

Pepe's flooring is the best! 516-889-5548. We used him for our bedrooms but they were empty when we first moved in. You would have to ask about the furniture, but I would get everything out bc while they were fairly clean there is always a little dust. If you are getting a truly new floor you may be able to use a pre finished wood which I did in my den with Pepe. Less mess, but if old floor has to come out or if you are refinishing an existing floor your bed will get dusty, definitely get your mattress and box spring out is my opinion.

Everything will have to come out and from what I remember when my parents had their house done, you couldn't put any heavy furniture on the floor for 2 weeks.

You will probably have to rent one of those pod things and hire movers to take the stuff apart and put back together if you are not able to

I can not say enough good things about Atlantic Hardwood flooring. We had them do our kitchen and dining room when we first moved in. The kitchen was easy to do, but the dining room required a lot of work. (It had been covered by linoleum flooring) The owner worked tirelessly for days in the midst of last August's heat wave with no AC. They came out beautifully!

I love Pepe!!! My mom used him years ago on her floors and they still look great. He is coming to do our new floors in 2 weeks.
You will need to have all furniture removed. he is doing ours before we move in so no problem there for us. He said its about a 3 day job and you cant step on the floor for a few days.

Donna and Josh just moved their furniture to a side, or another room. Mary
