GHI/empire blue cross and HSG
If you had the HSG done at the hospital did you get a bill from empire for 20% of
the hospital cost? I just got a bill for $179.

I had it done at an office...but if I have it done at a hospital I think i have a 75$ outpatient copay

I got it done in the Hospital as an out patient procedure and it cost me $200. Its the copay for my ins.

I had it done at NSUH and I havent gotten any bills so far for anything. I didnt even have a copay for the HSG. You should check though maybe your insurance doesnt cover all of the cost. For the hospitals there are 2 fees the procedure and the reading of it. Maybe it was for the radiologist and that one doesnt participate. If that is the case then they are supposed to pick one that does take your ins.

GHI paid the medical part of it, I had no copay. Empire is the hospital cost.
