ghi meds question..

this might be a odd question lol but figured maybe u guys know..

we have ghi insurance and usually with scrips we pay up front them get a check back..so far they have not covered anything fertlity related..no meds at all..been paying 20 for this..40 for that..adds up but so far not too bad

so last appt with dr.B we decided for this IUI we would do femera rather than the clomid

so get the phone call from the pharamcy and my bill is 225 bucks

125 for femera
65 for trigger shot
and 30 for progesterone
rest was for gauze etc.

i live in queens and this pharmacy is in brooklyn(they deliver) s my question is before i take the trip out to brooklyn and have them fill out the slip so i can send it into city..will any of this be covered..

is any of this treated for other things..like metformin i am on would be covered bc it can be a diabetic drug but that only cost me 5 bucks lol..

or is all this strictly fertility..thanks so much sorry so long

i think its strictly fertility related but that seems expensive

eta: i used freedom fertility, my trigger wasnt covered and i think it was 40 for it. its worth a phone call. they deliver next day

thats seems like a bit much- I also use Freedom Fertility, it is much cheaper for the meds.

i have mine in queens but i just assumed dr.B wanted me to use this one..next appt i will ask if i can use a diff one
