gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
What kind of double stroller are you getting? DS will be almost 3.5 when the baby is born. I love my jogger, but I don't think it's worth the money to get a double one at that point. I'm leaning towards getting a Sit & Stand. What about you?

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
I dont have personal experience with this, this is my first baby, but the sit and stand is a good idea. My friend who is 9 mos pregnant has an almost 3.5 year old. She bought a double stroller a few months ago and her son is almost too big for it already so she sold that and ended up buying a sit and stand. HTH!

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
i just got this for my cousin who has a 2year old and one on the way. its the double sit n stand with the 2 seats. and the one seat comes out and is the part for them to stand. it looks great and its not too heavy at all and its nice to have to option to have the older child in a seat if they are cranky or tired

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
DD will be about 2.5 when the new baby comes and I don't think I'll be getting a double. DD is RARELY in her stroller anymore...only on certain occasions...so to spend the $$$ on a double I just don't think is worth it.
The only one (double) I am considering is the BOB Jogger. So we'll see.

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
DC are exactly 3 years apart. We got a Sit-n-Stand, but rarely used it. At 3, DS was walking confidently, so he would rather walk next to the stroller instead of sitting on it.

My kids will be a couple months shy of 2 1/2 years apart but I do plan on getting a sit and stand. I want the one that the infant seat can snap into.

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
I have no clue. I'm leaning towards the Valco twin mode b/c it has a toddler seat attachment..... My son will be 2 yrs 4 mnths when the twins come but he is an adventurer and likes t touch/move around etc and I use the stroller still a LOT and cant see that changing much in 3 and 1/2 months but I also dont think he will need it more then a yr.
We do things like walk the mall and walk around the lake etc and still will when the babies come and I think that a 2 and 1/2 yr old will get too tired after a bit so I feel I need a stroller for him.
Sorry I was no help was I

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
I am not getting a double right away. DD is due in Sept and DS will be 3 in October so they will be 3yrs apart. I love using my Bjorn and my hotslings so I will see how it goes come next spring. I dont want to buy a double to have it sit collecting dust with my 3 reg strollers

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
My dd will be 3 1/2 when the baby arrives and we are not getting a double stroller as she doesn't sit in a stroller now - I will use an infant carrier for the first few months and when we take walks DD can run or ride her bike and I will walk.

Mine are 2.5 years apart and I have the Joovy Caboose. It's great because the older one actually likes riding around on the back.

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
We use our stroller with Alex (3.5) a lot - I stroll her to school and back and we take a 45 minute walk around the neighborhood every night with her in it, so I know we're going to need something. I'm just going to wait until the baby comes out to get something, because at this point I really can't entirely anticipate what our needs will be. My inclination is the sit n' stand but I guess we'll just wait and see!

DD will be 3.5 when #2 arrives so I'm going to wait it out and see if it's worth investing in. If anything I will be considering the sit n stand one.

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
My kids will be exactly 2.5 years apart. I bought the Joovy Ergo Caboose.
My DD still uses the stroller so I like this because she can go in the regular seat and the baby goes in the back in the infant carrier. Later when she is older my DD can use the jump seat while the baby sits in the regular seat.
Later on I may consider a double umbrella stroller for trips and stuff.

same here. I have the double stroller that I bought but I don't think Jack will want any part of that when the time comes - since he hates the stroller now.

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
My kids will be 26 months apart and I plan on getting a sit and stand with the convertible second seat option. DS still likes to sleep in the stroller so I hope that it will get some use. I actually plan on going to look at strollers and car seats with my mom this week.

Looking into this right now. My son will be a bit over 2.5 months when the baby is born. Want to have the option of him walking if he wants to or somewhere to stand or sit. Plus something that it's not too heavy. I've been looking around and only seen the double sit n stand but not like this one that you can take the seat out....which brand is this you posted?

Re: gilrs whose kids will be 2.5+ years apart
My kids will be 2 yrs 4 months and 18 months when the baby comes. I'm not getting a triple stroller, that's for sure. Ayla will have to walk and hold my hand while the other 2 are in the stroller. I can't use a sit and stand b/c it's only for 2 kids. I'll make it work somehow.
