Girl name opinions-with updated question
We are currently expecting our 3rd. Dd's name is Giuliana and Ds's name is Joseph/Joey. We are set on a boy's first name, but need some help in the girl department. Both of our kids are named after relatives and we would like to name this I've after someone, too. We would like to use a firm or combo of Mary and Elizabeth. Last name is long, flowy and Italian.
Options on the table:
Elizabeth
Marielena
Mariella
Which do uou prefer and any other suggestions?
How would you pronounce Mariella upon seeing it? Mare-ree-ella or Mah-ree-ella?

I love all of those names, and your dcs' names as well! Elizabeth was a contender for us for dd. I also like Marinella and Marilena (not sure if this is the same pronunciation as the second name listed).

I like Mariella...
I come from an italian family so I would say Mah-riella. But if you want it pronounced a certain way then just tell people that is how you would like it pronounced. For example my niece is also Giuliana but we say her name is "ju-lee-ah-na" and not "ju-lee-anne-a"

My vote is for Elizabeth. I did go to high school with a Marialena and I always thought that was pretty.
I would pronounce it the first way.

We like them all pretty equally. We may wait to see the baby if it's a girl. In my gut I've had a feeling it's a boy so if feels surreal talking about girls names, but it's a fun discussion to have.

I love mairella (I love the nick name Ella) and I am partial to Elizabeth bc it's my middle name. Although marielena is pretty I feel like people are going to shorten it on her and just call her Marie.

We would use Ella as a nickname for Elizabeth and Mariella. We would use Mia as a nickname for Marielena.
