Girls Pregnant with their 2nd or more.....

My doctor told me I would get bigger faster with this pregnancy, but this is out of control. I am just about 12 weeks and I had someone ask me at work yesterday when I was due! I am not a very skinny girl so that is not it...but I look preggers. I am just so shocked because last time I didn't really look it until well past 16 weeks. Did this happen to you? Will i get bigger then I did with the first, or will I just get bigger faster? Thanks....

I hope not...I was wearing pregnancy clothes at 9 weeks last time

I was in maternity MUCH fast this time and always looked further ahead but I did level off eventually. At almost 40w, everyone is saying I look exactly the same as I did at this point with DS.

I got bigger faster. Even my husband noticed. I am 6 months now and everyone keeps saying "you must be due soon!" or "I bet you can't wait!". I am sure I look huge to everyone.

I am only 10 weeks, but I definitely feel like I am getting bigger faster this time.

I'm working on my third...

The second time, I remember bloating up faster, but I guess the real "belly" came around the same time--17 weeks? At 40 weeks I looked identical to my first pregnancy--meanwhile DD#2 was 8lbs 10, as opposed to DD#1 who was 7lbs 6.

This time? Holy smokes! My 12 week picture is out.of.control! Now, I'm 18.5 weeks, and I think I look like what someone 18.5 weeks would look like.

I think it all balances out in the end...

im already showing and im only 8 weeks

with DS i didnt start showing until 12-14 weeks

I am much bigger this time. Nobody at work was surprised when I came out at 13 weeks....

I'm almost 29 weeks now and alot bigger than I was with DD.

I got bigger faster, and dd#2 was bigger than #1 ! #1 was 7lbs 9 oz #2 was 8lbs 11oz

I did get bigger faster but now at almost 33 weeks I am definetly smaller than 1st time around.

Got bigger faster, about 2 or 3 weeks ahead of last time.
I think now at 29 weeks I may be evening out, but haven't taken any recent belly shots to compare.

I def. got bigger faster, my baby was bigger at delivery too. I was so much more uncomfy the second time around

I guess I'm the opposite. I'm much smaller this time around. I also started off 10 lbs lighter than my last pregnancy so I'm sure that helps.

I was showing a lot sooner but I think I'm smaller overall than I was last time (except my boobs).

I bloated up much bigger then the first, but once the bloat went down, I dont' think I'm too far off. I'm 18 weeks and my clothes are fitting like they did about 20-21 weeks last time. Weight gain is pretty much the same.

I started showing sooner with this pregnancy. I believe I was already in maternity jeans by 13/14wks along.

Last time I didnt make my way into maternity clothes until 4 months.


I've been in maternity clothes since 7 weeks. I look pregnant, no mistaking it!

I'm carrying the same as I have with my first two pregnancies. I'm tall, so I'm able to hide it better than most. Most people didn't know I was pregnant until I made mention of it and that was all the way up until 8 months. I feel like it's only obvious now at 9 months...now there's no hiding it. Actually, I think I'm carrying smaller with #3. I definitely have gained less (40 lbs) this time around than I did with my other 2 (60 lbs both times). I'm not quite sure when I started to wear maternity clothes, but I think it was somewhere around 5 to 6 months. (I didn't buy a lot of maternity wear. Just 3 pairs of pants, 3 dresses and 2 dress shirts. Everything else has been my regular clothes.)

It was strange for me. I feel like I am carrying much smaller then I was with DS (I am not at all bloated) but I definately had a belly a lot quicker. In my case though, my body really never had a chance to go back to normal since I got pregnant with #2 when DS was only 3 months

some people say I got bigger this time quicker and some people say no...I think I'm pretty much the same.

I actually gained less with #2 and didn't wear maternity clothes until 22 weeks.

However, I started out 15 lbs heavier, so maybe that had something to do with it!

I started showing earlier this time too- I think around 10 wks my friends were like ooh baby bump lol
