girls that had dvt or blood clots - what did it feel like?

just curious b/c I have had constant pain in my left leg from my thigh to my foot since Friday -- it started out with a pulsating feeling going up my leg then turned to cramps. Nothing I do helps (shower, elevate it) it hurts with pressure on or off.

Do I call my hematologist or a regular dr?
I feel like I am over thinking every pain now that I know that I have a blood clotting issue.... AHH

Mine was the worst pain I have ever had in my life. It was worse when walking. I also had swelling and redness. I went to the ER.

If you're afraid, i would call any dr. They can give you a script for a doppler which you can take to a radiology place. Better to be safe

Goto the ER and tell them you are concerned you have a DVT. They will bring you in right away.

if you have any concerns that u might have one and u have clotting issues go to the er

i can only tell u for me i had been waking up with charlie horses in my calves for like 2 weeks..then it was just one..the pain was so bad i could barely walk..it felt like i had a pulled a muscle..my skin was also red and warm

then i woke up and my leg,ankle and foot were 10 times the size..i went to the emergency clinic who looked at me and sent me straight to the ER..

please do not wait or doubt..go have a duplex done

Thanks ladies -- I am pretty sure I was overreacting. I had a banana and the pain almost went right away. It is just so hard because I over anaylze everything already -- and have the worst visions!

If it comes back I will call my hematologist. I go see them on March 2nd
