Re: girls who have dogs - flea prevention question
You know I never even thought about it but my DH did all 4 of our dogs a few weeks back, and I'm fine.

Re: girls who have dogs - flea prevention question
I never even thought about the tick/flea prevention. We just used frontline on our dog this past weekend. I'll have to bring this up at my next Dr. appointment.

Re: girls who have dogs - flea prevention question
this is a good question. we use k9 advantix on my guy...and it's almost time for us to reapply. I'll make sure DH does it and I'll probably avoid the poor pup all day until it really sinks in!

Re: girls who have dogs - flea prevention question
I've been using the K9 Advantix every month since March and I've been fine; as long as you don't ingest any of the product you're fine.

Re: girls who have dogs - flea prevention question
I asked my vet about this a few months ago...she said to have DH apply it, and then just to try not to touch the dog too much for a few hours. Usually DH will put it on him in the morning, and then by that night I figure we're good.

Re: girls who have dogs - flea prevention question
DH has been applying it ever since I found out I was pregnant and I have just not touched the dog for the day (even though that is really really hard)
