I will never understand why celebs think we give a cr@p what they have to say. Nor do I get how someone who is supposedly outspoken about women's rights, wants to force a woman to breast feed their children.

This statement is way way worse:
"Some people (in the US) think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'"
I barely knew who she was now, that I read the article I can hate her too!

If putting this in law, would give women 6 months maternity leave guaranteed, have unlimited support from LCs and free hospital grade pumps, pumping bras, and all the access to all the things that Ms. Bundchen does, then I might consider it could be a law. "MIGHT"
I just was not able to do it past 2m, I cried over it, evaluated my self worth a million times, was really depressed over it. I don't know what else could have helped me... maybe more education in the beginning, maybe... ???
I agree.
It comes easy for some but not for all and to have to go back to work so soon and figure that out. Our country doesn't do a lot to support new moms, especially not in the BFing journey.d79i
I tried with both and it was a struggle and it didn't last as long as I hoped with either of them and I am HUGE proponent of breast feeding so it really hit me hard to struggle so much.

I'd hope she has another kid, and when the child is born, has no milk come in...even though she desperately wants to breastfeed, even though she tries to feed her child every three hours, has each feeding session last for over an hour, and pumps in between. For THREE weeks. And then has to feel the devastating guilt of not being able to breastfeed her child.
THEN, I'll listen to her opinions on breastfeeding.

This makes me sad.......It seems a lot of celebrity moms Kourtney/Kendra/her are bfing and good for them. I just wish that they could take that and use it as a POSITIVE thing for bfing not a source of debate. Why not choose to talk about what it's like to bf in public? Why not choose to talk about why SHE thinks it's so great. Why not express what she fells/felt during bfing and why she feels it's so great. I think the formula/bfing thing is silly. Why not focus on something else.

OK so I can care less about her remark to Bf-ing. that's her opinion and she is entitled to it. Obviously we don't all agree but whatever....
However, saying childbirth/labor didn't hurt in the slightest bit????? Come one now. That is a blatant lie! That is NOT an opinion. There is no freaaaking way she didn't feel pain or any kind of discomfort. no way- LIAR!

I am all for bfing and love bfing my babies, but she is seriously and idiot. perhaps the government should encourage bfing by giving paid maternity leave for 6 mths and cutting taxes or allowing deductions for items associated with bfing, but making it a law that women must BF? c'mon
