Glucose drink question

Do we have a choice in favors? If so what are they?
If you had the test, what flavor did you pick and was it Ok, or would you try a different flavor.

I had the test on Monday and I did not get to pick the flavor that I wanted. My midwife gave me the orange drink which was not nasty at all.

i took the test 3 different times between both pregnancies and i never had a choice.

i did request that they give me ice when it wasn't cold enough

I took it and they gave me a Fruit Punch one, and I have to say it wasn't bad at all!

I got to choose between fruit punch, orange or lemon lime. I chose the fruit punch and it wasn't bad at all. If I have to do it again I'll make the same choice.

I asked them to make sure it was cold and it was, I think if it was warm it would have been a bit yucky.

Both times I took the test I had no choice. I had the orange. I thought it was good, tasted like flat orange soda.

I wasn't given a choice. They gave me the lemon lime. I didn't even think about it. It tasted like flat, sweet Sprite. I did bring ice in a baggie, with a cup, because I heard not everyplace chills them. But mine was cold.

I didn't have a choice. Mine was orange (kept in the fridge - nice and cold!) and I have to say it wasn't bad AT all .. in fact, I think I liked it.

No, unfortunately...your doctor will give you the one glucose drink that is out there...organge...I was just given it at my last appointment and it doesn't look yummy at all.

I took the GD test many times at the lab (Quest or LabCorp) and only once they actually had given me a choice and it was for the 1 hour. I took the test 3 times with my 1st pregnancy (a 1, 2 and three hour with my 1st pregnancy) and so far this pregnancy - 3 - 1 hours tests and 1- 3 hours with this pregnancy. It was at LabCorp in Wantagh for the 1 hour which I failed where I got the choice this time.

The drink really isn't bad at all esp the 1 hour one. Just like kind of flat sweet soda.

Best advice I got - drink it through a straw. Makes it go faster.

But I really didn't think it tasted that bad - I had the orange one.

mine was orange with no option, it really wasnt that bad, just very sweet.

I didn't have a choice either, I had the orange & it was cold. It really wasn't bad, just sweet, like non-diet soda

I didn't get a choice, but mine tasted just like gatorade...totally not a big deal.

I had a choice of orange or lemon. I chose lemon and loved the taste. MY doctor said I was the first person to ever say they liked it. It tasted like a very sweet lemon flavored drink.

I didn't have a choice, they gave me the orange one. I have to say it was nice and cold and it didn't taste bad.

I had it done at Quest labs and did not get a choice, it was orange

i did not have a choice i was given orange it was ok, it got sweet at the end though

I didn't get a choice. Mine tasted just like orange soda. I downed it. It wasn't bad at all.

I have had both the orange and the cola - they both taste like soda minus the fizz but with some extra sugar. Try to get whatever one they offer you cold - it helps with the taste. I don't any of them were undrinkable. Really sweet which I don't really care for but not something that I couldn't swollow. I was prepared for it to be horrible but really it doesn't taste that bad.
