Gonal F and Menopur
Hey girls!
I started stims last night for the first time. I am doing 2 vials of Gonal F and 1 of Menopur but all in one shot. I was so nervous for this last night cause I read on here and other sites that it was going to burn like hell! Am I the only one who didn't feel this way? I thought it was a breeze! I was all nervous that we didnt' do it right since it did not hurt one bit!

Gonal F and Menopur
Maybe it's bc you don't have to mix the sodium cl (which is usually mixed with menopur when you take the shot on its own) That's what makes the shot "burn".

I don't know about the menopur but gonal f was a breeze for me. Some days it stung, but wasn't a big deal.

Same for me, I think it was the fear of the unknown that made me freak out the first time, but the actual shot wasn't bad at all.

You are right..I called my nurse to be sure and she said it beacause i dont mix with the sodium CL. Thanks! I feel better now!!!

Neither were uncomfortable for me when I took them, and I did have to mix the Menopur.
