Got the green light or shall I say red
After 15 days on Lupron I finally got my AF this morning at 5:30 am.
Went to see my RE and everything looks good.
Got the green light to start stims tonight
Who else is on stims now?
I am starting Bravelle....

Re: Got the green light or shall I say red
I really suggest you calm down a little over this. You seemed so impatient to get AF with your multiple frantic posts and updates about it, yet you have to be prepared that in going though infertility, things will not always go as planned. For example, it historically takes me a specific protocol to grow 4-5 folliicles for my IUIs. This cycle, it took double the time than normal with more than double of the injections I normally use. In this process, I find you just must take a more laid back approach with these things, especially waiting to get AF which is a result that was SURE to happen. In the two week wait, you don't know what the end result will be.
Believe me, I know how frustrating this road can be and how you want things to happen when they are supposed to. I learned that hard way it just does not work like that.
I wish you tons of luck on your journey and sincerely hope it ends soon, but please consider my advice and just relax.

I appreciate your advice and experience, as well as the well wishes which I wish for you as well.
I find it offending the fact you call my post frantic when I actually post to get information from those of you who are more experienced than me.
Furthermore, I also post for those of us who might have the same questions/doubts as me and might be lurking and not posting for fear of a backlash for being so naive about things that are new to them. I was one of such and believe me! if I would have found the information in here (and I have done plenty of research here) I would not post.
Even further, there are some of the helpful ladies in here who would like to be kept updated.
This is my first IUI cycle as you well know and still learning. I am pretty sure that after this one, I would be more knowledgeable about how some things work. As you know, infertility is not easy, and the more help, support and knowledge we gain, the more tolerable our journey becomes. As you learned the hard way, so I am as well.
As you know the protocol that works for you, I am learning what works for me. I am pretty sure you did not learned yours right away and the knowledgeable ladies here were helplful.
I read plenty of your the comments you have posted from the beginning (yes! I have been here for that long but not posting) and noticed that you yourself had some concerns and constant questions when you were not sure about something that might have seemed frantic as well. I believe I can do the same. Furthermore, in some of your past postings/ comments you yourself did not have such a laid back approach to things right away. I am pretty sure I will get to your level of "laid back" in the future.
By the way, what makes you think AF coming would have been such a sure thing to happen? Many have not gotten their AF during Lupron for different reasons, as I am glad some of the ladies in here where kind to inform me. So it is not for sure after all. So yeah, we don't know what the end result is going to be because there are many hurdles to cross and everybody is different, but it is good to have a point of reference as I am sure you agree.
I thought the point of this board was to learn and gain experience from others (as well as moral support) Please correct me if I am wrong! because I might be in the wrong site.
That is the reason I joined.

Re: Got the green light or shall I say red
Whoa, no need to get so defensive. That seems like an attack which I really don't understand because I don't believe I outright insulted you. I was genuinely saying to just relax a little through this process and not once made it personal. I really don't even know what to say at this point but I am absolutely not continuing this any further after that strong (and rude) reaction and the fact that you obviously took anything I said the wrong way.

I apologize if I came across too harsh. I guess is my hormones and the Lupron. I guess when you wrote
"You seemed so impatient to get AF with your multiple frantic posts and updates about it"
I took it as an insult, perhaps another word would have caused a different reaction. Frantic seems like an insult as an English teacher. I was explaining so you can understand where I am coming from.
I hope you have a great evening and best of luck with your 2WW

Re: Got the green light or shall I say red
Since you admitted to have been keeping up with my posts for so long, you should know that it is not in my personality to start drama or personally offend people on the boards. So, you should not have assumed that's what I was doing. "Frantic" was merely an adjective I found best suitable and wasn't trying to be offensive.
On another note, I was also one of the frequent responders to your post a few nights ago with your refrigeration question and as you know, helped google answers for you, etc. I am still blown away by your aggressive response, because I don't think I deserved that at all.
Be well and best of luck.

Re: Got the green light or shall I say red
I think we are all stressed out due to the holiday season and with what we are going through. I totally feel more on edge now then in the past few months, ask my husband he will tell you. Im a little jealous that you got AF since I have been on lupron forever and I still haven't gotten anything except symptoms of it coming and a yeast infection. I hope that you continue to post and keep us updated with what you are going through. I know you have helped me at times and I wish you the best of luck.
