Graco Pack-N-Play Questions
I am trying to decide between 2 models, the Samuel (from BBB) and the Melbourne (carried in Target),
The Samuel has a canopy, but no mobile. The Melbourne has a mobile (cheap one,) but no canopy.
I wasn't plan on taking the PnP outside, but thought the canopy would be a nice feature to block out light when baby is napping downstairs.
How important is either the mobile or the canopy based on your experiences.
Also, they both have the changing station, but the Samuel one folds up when not in use, the Melbourne does not. Is this an issue?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Graco Pack-N-Play Questions
My PNP has a mobile, but does not have a canopy.
I put the mobile up for DS, but it does not wind up. I actually have to push it if I want it to move. It's attached to the PNP, but I can't say I really "use" it.
If I had a choice I would get one with a canopy.

Re: Graco Pack-N-Play Questions
My PNP had a mobile (no canopy) and it was a total waste because the mobile doesn't spin on its own. DS was only interested in the mobile if I sat there and spun it over and over every few seconds.

Re: Graco Pack-N-Play Questions
I didn't use either the mobile or canopy that came with it. But he only slept in it the first 7 weeks.
For me, the changing table folding up was a must because it covers part of the pnp. If you want to use a video monitor on it, you don't want any part covered.

i agree. the mobile is a complete waste.
i would have used a canopy because i brought the PNP outside all the time. but it's completely not necessary.

Re: Graco Pack-N-Play Questions
Thank you so much! I guess I also have to take into consideration the pattern and decide which one I like better.

Mine has a canopy and I guess the little bears that hang from that are considered a mobile. I had no use for either.
