Graco Snugride carseats?
I try not to ask "future" pregnancy/baby questions until I'm further along due to being superstitious, but it's been bugging me. Back with my boys I had the original Graco Snugride Infant car seat. Now, there are 3-4 different kinds? What gives?
I definitely don't need one that holds a larger weight because with my boys, they were so big, they had to move up into the convertible seat around 8-12 weeks old. Plus, they were waaaay too heavy. Thanks!

Re: Graco Snugride carseats?
I stuck with the original for that reason- everyone said there is no way you will want a 32 lb baby in the infant seat anyway- it will be way too heavy to carry. So the Snugride 32 would be overkill

I went with the 32 because that way i will have him rear facing in that seat until he's that weight. i won't be carrying him out in the seat at that weight though!

I registered for the 32 snugride because I liked the pattern I don't think it's that necessary though to have them hold that much more weight- who wants to carry that??

Re: Graco Snugride carseats?
I work for insurance and get a free car seat for every child, the infant option they offer is the basic snugrude and the convertible is the Cosco. They usually stay up to date with models that have the best ratings when involved in a crash. i went with two snugrides b/c they cost more to buy.

Re: Graco Snugride carseats?
We have the snugride32...it was a lifesaver this winter being able to put her in the carseat and putting the cozy cover over it and carrying her out to the car. She's 11 months old now and we're just about ready to put her into a big girl car seat, b/c she has to get used to it before her little sister gets her snugride in 2 months...
But as for carrying it. I only carry it from the house door to the car and pick it up out of the car and put it in the snap and go, so i love it. Lifting it for 10-20 seconds as opposed to buckling and unbuckling a child every time you get in and out of the car and especially waking a sleeping baby, was sooo worth it in my opinion.
