I found out the sex with Damien and was surprised with Jaidyn.

The night before our wedding we slept in our apt. together. I left in the morning to go to my Dad's to get ready. So we did see each other before our ceremony, but he didn't see me in the dress until I walked down the aisleChat Icon

For me, two of life's best moments are seeing your husband-to-be waiting for you at the end of the church aisle, and waiting until the day your baby is born to find out if it's a girl or a boy. So, there's my answer Chat Icon

We found out the sex of both of our babies. Now the wedding question is a little tough to answer. I moved with DH a week before we eloped. We saw each other before because we lived together and we drove to Reno. We NEVER told our families we were married. 2 days after we eloped we got pregnant with #1. When we told or families we were excepting they demanded a wedding before the baby was born. So I was 7 months pregnant getting "married" The only person at our wedding that knew we were really already married was the pastor. Our parents made us sleep seperate and we couldn't see eachother untill I was walking down the aisle.

Just curious did your family ever find out the truth or is this still a big secret?

Still our little secret! Our real 3 year anniversey is on the 18th! But our fake one isn't untill late November.

At my 20 week sono I wanted to be surprised (I say that but I probably would have had to find out!) but then I found out I had to have a cerclage put in, and then be put on bed rest for the next 20 weeks so I needed some happy news! And as for my wedding I wanted pics outside at westbury gardens and my ceremony was to late to not see him before, BUT my girls hid me until he arrived and made him turn around and close his eyes as I walked up, so it was a bit of a surprise! So, I did not find out the sex of the baby...it was a "surprise" I also did not see DH the day of the wedding till I was walking down the isle. I wanted that big moment. Am I just a big moment person?

Did you-find out the sex?
see DH before ceremony?

I did the same as you.

Saw DH before the ceremony, but didn't find out the gender of either DC. (I would have preferred to wait to see DH, but getting married at a hall made it difficult, so the photographer set up a "big moment" for us.) Definitely a big moment person!

Re: Had an interesting conversation last night, just looking for a coorelation..

Just the fact of having DC was a big enough event for us, with enough "surprises", so we found out the gender for both. Plus, we're not a big fan of yellows or greens, so we wanted either blues or pinks/reds for most of the baby stuff.

DW and I walked down the aisle together, drove to the church together in the same car. We're not big on the tradition thing.....

Re: Had an interesting conversation last night, just looking for a coorelation..

I look at it different. I had my big moments, just not at the birth and not walking down the aisle.

My level IIs were a great time and surprise and I felt like I could enjoy it. Honestly, after a long labor, I wonder if I could have really appreciated finding out at that moment as I did at the level II.

Same with the wedding. DH and I had a great private moment. We werea ble to smootch and talk and touch and take it all in at our own moment.

Maybe they are not the "traditional" moments, but they were still our special moments that we waited for with anticipation.

I didn't see DH before the ceremony, but we did find out the sex.

Same here.

I think there is a huge difference between the two events so I don't think choosing one or the other determines whether you are a big moment person vs a practical person.

Same here. We did not see each other before the ceremony. We found out the sex. I am not always just a moment person or a practical person. I am both.

ETA: I felt more connected with the baby during the pregnancy and having a name picked out because I knew what it was.

I am an other I think.

I saw DH before the ceremony. We wanted to find out the sex of our daughter but she never wanted to show and after 20 weeks because of the position she was in we had to just let it be a mystery.
