Thanks girls I should really be focusing on the positive- that my is doing so well . But its hard when you are so uncomfortable and I just really want her to come because I think it will lift everyones spirits in my family being we've had such a rough couple of weeks with my mom passing away suddenly and all.
I guess she will come when she is ready.

I think mom just needed a little extra private time with her Gail She will be here very soon...

aw I'm sorry. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. But don't worry. I have heard many stories where there was no progress at all and then all of a sudden a week later or even days later there way!!! Things can turn around so quickly!

As others have said - progress means NOTHING! I had slight progress for close to a month...I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced for weeks and it did nothing.....ended up being induced at 40w6d. And I knew 2 other people due after me who had no progress at all - they both went into labor on their own before me....I was so jealous! They were the ones with no dilation, no nothing...and their water broke and they delivered weeks before me.
So hang in there and try not to worry. The end can be so uncomfortable...I had such pressure down there for months b/c my DD was sitting so low and head down for most all of my 3rd trimester she was in position. The pressure was awful - it hurt to walk.

Aww, I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable. I guess is just too cozy in there to want to leave!

4 days before i gave birth i had zero dilation & zero effacment. i went into labor naturally and was progressing @ 1cm an hour. everyone is different.
i was frustrated/disapointed too but after the baby was born realized there was no reason for me to be.

Hang in there. As DH kept reminding me when I was late, you won't be pregnant forever, it has to end sometime.
