Had my HSG...now what?
After I had the procedure 3 weeks ago the doctor told me everything looked perfect. I never got a call from my RE to discuss the results (that is leaving a bad taste in my mouth). What's next? At this point everything is totally normal and I am just so frustrated.

Either call your RE and schedule to start a new cycle on Day 1 of your period.
OR find another RE if you already have a bad taste.
I never give doctors the chance to follow up with me; because I will always get to them first. But thats just me though.

I agree with the OP but if you don't feel like you're getting the right care then leave now. I wish I did listen to my heart.

Re: Had my HSG...now what?
If you were told everything is perfect why do you think the RE would follow up?

my RE had me make a follow up apt to discuss the next steps. Unfortunately I think you have to be the proactive one and call On a plus thats great your HSG went well :)

I don't think doctors should be proactive in this instance. You had the test, and know the results, so you should call for your next appt.

I agree with this. I think RE's are very careful to let us be the ones to chart the course, so to speak. If your HSG was fine, it's your decision to make if you want to pursue further with the RE. I know there are other factors like how long you've been trying and age but I do think it's up to you to be the one to pursue further treatment and conversation. Best of luck to you

Usually there is a plan of action or you are supposed to set up a consult appointment to discuss next steps. You are going to be hard pressed to find an RE that's going to be calling to follow up with you

I agree with this as well. I either made an appointment to follow up after a test or I was told next steps I was suppose to take. So for example is the HSG was fine I might have been told to call with my period for my next cycle. I don't think the RE did anything wrong here.
