Has anyone been to the Macy's Thanksgiving parade? Any tips?
We decided to brave the crowds and check out the thanksgiving parade.
Has anyone ever been?
Any tips on where it's easiest to get a decent view?
DH will be putting DS on his shoulders so hopefully at least DS will be able to see.

I've never been, but a friend just told me that locals often bring step ladders so they can put a child on each platform so they can see.

I went a few years ago and got great seats on the bleachers by Macy's. This also worked out because we could go inside the store to use the bathroom/ get hot chocolate.
Just be prepared for crowds and get there super early. I think we got there at 7 or 8 am.
