Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
are you still bleeding? or was it just a little bit? it just may be normal. I am 10 weeks too and the other day I saw some brownish/pinkish tinge and I started to panick and cry. I havent seen it since. I didnt trip and fall but maybe thats what happens between 9-10 weeks?

It's more than just a tinge. When I wipe it looks like CD1 I'm feeling so sick over this, I just want it to be tomorrow morning already.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
I'm 30 weeks and I fell yesterday, up the stairs but thankfully landed on my knee in a sort of split position (I slipped on my wet flip flop).
Please keep us posted.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
First, relax!!!
I had period like blood at 9w4d. Ended up it was a subchorionic hemmorage. It was tiny but A LOT of blood. I bled for only about 20 min. but spotted for 2 weeks. I know how scary it is since I bled with all 3 of my PG so go to your doctors for a piece of mind.

If you don' tthink you can wait until tomorrow morning (I know I wouldn't be able to) head to the ER... they'll hook you up and monitor you.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
I feel on the ice around the same time as you and the Dr. said that the pregnancy is not even in the belly yet and that there is no way I hurt the baby.
You are probably fine.
Good Luck!

OMG!!! I would be freaking out. If it will make you feel better, go to the ER, but there is nothing they are going to be able to do to stop it.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
They might not be related since you didn't really fall.
I bled around 9 weeks and everything was perfectly fine! I'm 33 weeks now. Let us know. I will be for you!!!!

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
A trip would not shake a pregancy loose. I know you're feeling vulnerable at this point but I really can't imagine the blood is related to you tripping.
To answer your question, I tripped, my friends tripped & some fell - one friend fell down her cement stairs not once but TWICE. Your balance is out of whack when you're pregnant - which is probably why they put the baby in a sac full of water.
Please go easy on yourself.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
Thank you ladies, I can't even express what everyone's kind words and prayers mean to me!!
Right now it seems like the bleeding has stopped. I am it continues like this. I didn't think that was going to happen after what it looked like earlier- which was absolutely more than spotting and looked like CD1.
I was never that scared in my entire life like I was earlier. I decided to wait for my dr appt in the morning and not go to the ER, especially since it seems to have stopped for now..
If this is a coincidence, it's really some coincidence! In the meantime, assuming everything is ok tomorrow, I am seriously wearing sneakers for the remainder of this pregnancy.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
I don't think they are related. A trip on the stairs wouldn't make you bleed.
If it's just a little bit, I read spotting can be very normal. Try to stay calm.
I hope everything is ok.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
I would think that the falling and bleeding are unrelated and purely coincidental. It may be a subchorionic hemmorage. I had bleeding at about 10 weeks and went to the ER and they found the hemmorage.
If you go to the ER, like a previous poster said, there is nothing they can do really, other than tell you what it is. But they really can't stop whatever it is that is happening. When I went to the ER I had to wait about 4 hours, so if I were you I would wait until the morning and go to your Dr.
I hope all is well, please keep us updated

Same here....sent you FM. Btw, the ER won't be able to do much for you tonight. You are probably just better going to the RE in the morning. The people at the ER will just scare you...

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
Thank you everyone!! I don't technically have an appointment, I'm just going in at 8:30 and I'll just get squeezed in.
I'll update as soon as I get back. I'm starting to feel a little better about things but really trying not to think too much about it at all until tomorrow morning, as hard as that is.

Re: Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE*
I know it's much easier said than done, but try to calm down. I don't think a trip would cause bleeding, especially @ 10 wks...the baby is very well protected.
I tripped while holding my one year old, and broke the fall with my knees and elbows to avoid him hitting the floor...I was about 6 wks PG. I had bruises and scrapes, no bleeding, and baby was fine.
2 weeks later I fell down the last 3 or 4 steps (hard wood) @ home, and fell right on my a$$...the pain that shot thru my back and abdomen was so bad I couldn't stand up for a few minutes. Once again, no bleeding and baby was fine.
I hope all goes well at your appointment...please keep updated.
