Has anyone had immune testing or blood clotting testing without Dr. B?
Is this an option......I mentioned immune testing to my RE, they do not do it. But....could I do it on my own?
My RE is making me take asprin now.

I started seeing Dr.Kofinas along with Dr.B before I even got pregnant. He's a perinatologist in Garden City. He runs all the same clotting tests for the most part.
You can always start seeing him while you're with your current RE and get the tests done through him.
ETA: I also think it's a good idea that you're being proactive with this!

So do I call Dr. K and tell him I am seeing an RE but what him to do more testing? What is a perinatologist?!?!?

my hematologist actually ran all the immune / blood clotting tests on me.... I originally went to a hematologist b/c my priamary dr noticed my hemaglobin was low
He did all the testing and turns out I have anti-phospolipid (blood clotting issues) and Low B-12
( I have had 2 losses that the drs say was a result of the blood clotting)

Yes...SIRM clinics do this testing. I go to SIRM-NY and see Dr. Tortoriello and he does both clotting and immune tetsing. The only thing is that as far as I know, he only does immune treatment for patients.
Many people also see Dr. Kim Kwak in Chicago and Dr. Colloum..I also believe she is in Chicago or go to the Beers Institute in Californina. These are all Reproductive Immunologists. Many of these centers can treat you even if you are an out of town patient. Here is a link for the Beer's Institute:

Like any other rx script, immune workups or other blood panels have to be from the Dr.
Dr. B works with many REs who either don't believe in Immune issues or just simply don't test for immune. Any of the Sher institutes will also do immune testing, but you have to be a patient, consult, etc.
