Having a hard time...
my Grandma passed away last Thursday, and yesterday was her funeral. Although I am so sad, I am trying to think about the very active and healthy lifestyle she lived right up until last week...then she was in the hospital for 5 days.
I am having such a tough time with the fact that she will never meet . She was so excited, and just the morning that she passed she was telling me that she was glad that at least she'd be better by his arrival in 6 weeks. I feel sad for her that she didn't get to see him and sad for him that he'll never meet her

I am a firm believer that the deceased is always looking after their loved ones. I am sure she is looking after you now too.  I am very sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss.
I lost my dad and my grandmother before I was 21 and the rest of my grandparents before I got married. None of them were at my wedding, were there for my pregnancy and of course, never met my amazing DD.
The way I look at is my daughter has 5 guardian angels looking down on her and protectng her throughout her life.

I am very sorry for your loss. It will get better. I know it hurts. I miss my Grandma very much and she's been gone for 15 years.

i know how you feel .. My grandmother lived in Florida and fell one day and ended up in the hospital and passed away 2 weeks later. DD only got to meet her once and she was 4 months old. I was very close to her and called her every week. She passed away 3 years ago and I still miss her everyday and so sad that she will never know that I had twin boys.
You could honor her and name your after her.. One of my sons is named after her in english and in hebrew.
It does get better and telling you children stories about her seem to make it better....
Hope you get passed this I know it is not easy..

I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't even begin to imagine your pain, I'm so close with my grandma I would be so devestated.
But on a brighter note, shes already met your and now he has an angel watching over him.

I have a similar situation as Shelly's, but it was my Dad, Grandfather & MIL.
It is definitely hard to accept and many hard times to get through, but I too think about them as my/our personal guardian angels!
