hcg level too low?!?

the doctor called with the blood test results, they confirmed that i am pregnant and they said the hcg level was at 39 and want me to retest wednesday because that number seems low. I told her I was only 10DPO. Is 39 normal for being just 10 days or is that number not good? Im a little worried now that it's too low

Re: hcg level too low?!?

you are VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY early....

most women don't know that they are pregnant at 10dpo...

don't spend your time right now stressing about the number - what matters is that it will double every 24 hours.

jess is right, you are too early to worry about numbers, but you only have to worry about your levels doubling ever 48 hours, not ever 24.

My first beta was only 28 and that was 7 days post a 5 day transfer (IVF cycle). I tested two days later and it went to 63. I tested four days later and it went to 385.

You are early! Hang in there....
