sooo do we think Cuomo will actually let us start opening next week?
I did hear supposedly he doubled the amount of tracers LI needs but I haven't confirmed it!

Let’s hope! At least the very beginning of phase 1. If nothing changes, I seriously see happening what could very well be the beginning of some type of civil war! Have u read what’s happening in Cali? Insane!

no i have not ready whats going on but if you have any articles to point me too. i would love too!
honestly business seem to be doing what they want anyway! some businesses are doing curbside now!
Dog groomers are open when supposedly they are not supposed to be!
people are not caring anymore and the more it goes on people will do what they want!

Hopefully he lets the businesses open back up. It seems like no one is staying home anymore. The amount of cars on the road over here makes it seem like there is no lockdown. Parking lots at every open store are filled.

Or if they're not even allowed to go to school 
There's a trampoline park that had just opened a few months before the shutdown. It'd be awful if they have to close for good.

Yeah - it's going to be a long time before people are going to want to go back to a place like that. So sad.
Really? I've been thinking a lot of people would go. I mean they had to rope off the playgrounds by us just to keep people from using them. I think business will be booming for play places once they are allowed to reopen. I just don't see how they can be allowed to open if the government doesn't even think it's safe to go to school. Once the schools do open, they are saying no recess, gym or playgrounds.

I follow several medical freedom activists throughout the country and so much it’s happening in several states. It’s very serious, people are getting pushed to the limit and they’re not caring anymore if they’re sent to jail. I just read this one today
I’ve been following several of these activists and they’re showing how ppl are pushing to protect their rights, business owners demanding to open their businesses again regardless if they’re been arrested like it happened to someone in NJ, I believe it was a gym owner. I’ll post more in this thread later.

Same with a local art studio for kids. It broke my heart reading the owner could not make it happen anymore. My kids absolutely loved that place. She was one of the best art teachers I have ever met!

I feel that people are more willing to try something outside.
But, I agree, you can go play on bounce houses, which are harder to disinfect than a desk, but, you can't go to school.

They may as well open schools because it's official now- kids are gathering everywhere.
I saw it today- kids on bikes, at parks, playing in groups, etc. We got fast food and had lunch in a parking lot with some friends today and there were so many others like us- having lunch in the big open parking lots of the shopping centers with the kids all playing together.
They might as well open the restaurants too because people are just getting take out and eating on tables and chairs in the parking lot of the restaurant.
Just let us inside already if that's the case.

They’re going to have to put social distancing measures in place, probably half capacity or something like that. In one of the emails one place said even if they reopened with social distancing measures in place, they wouldn’t make enough money to cover the operating costs.

Small business owners are starting to sue Governor Murphy. The gym owner in Nj said yesterday he will continue to stay open until they send him to jail. They tried a new tact yesterday and closed him down due to hazardous conditions. Didn’t see the news today since I was at the beach, so not sure what happened today.
I think Murphy is allowing outside gatherings of 25 now. I didn’t get to read the article on North NJ website.

I was thinking restaurants should be able to open for patio dining- they started that way in other states.

They are outside. In fresh air. With sunshine. Vitamin D. From a physical and mental perspective, this is not necessarily a bad thing.
So many camps cancelled after the Governor made his comments the other day. I am not sure how that helps keep kids apart from each other this summer. It definitely doesn't help parents. And many camps will close permanently.

Dude, nobody asked what you would do, and you don't force anyone to go to camp- that is an optional activity. Let parents have the option. The kids in my neighborhood are out & about like it is May of last year. Kids gathered together in front yards playing on slip & slides and in sprinklers, riding bikes & scooters together, standing on top of each other in line at the Mr. Softee truck. Might as well send them to camp, where at least they would be trying to implement some safety measures.

Same! There have been more and more each day but yesterday it exploded. My son was out with one of our neighbors for 5 hours! He was the happiest I’ve seen him in days.
Today we went to our middle school to walk their trail and there were a lot of kids there together.
I went for a walk by myself too after work/before dinner and there were yards filled with kids. People are done.
We are now even hopeful our local pool club can open!

Perhaps a trap door like on those one piece pajamas.
I truly think there are some people who sit on their couches watching TV at night with a mask on.
