Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child
For those that read the book can you just give me the overall jist of it. I really want to read it, but I can't even find time to sit down with my People magazine these days. I started to read it with Jack and think I know the general premise, but any help is appreciated. THANKS

Re: Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child
general idea is that babies have a MAXIMUM 2 hour window of awake time. As in, they wake up at 7am, they eat, play, and then the drowsy signs come in that 1-2 hr mark in which you should start the soothing process to put them to sleep for nap.
SO True...14 months old and 2 1/2-3 hrs after waking up she's ready for her nap (which is normally about 2 hours long and more often than not lately, has been her ONLY nap.)
Anything less than an hour is not considered a real nap.
It advocates Crying but it's your choice to do full CIO, partial in which you go in after a period of time to soothe and gradually increase the time increments, or a no-cry solution
