A family lost its son. A child lost her father. I hope to G-d there was no foul play as that would be absolutely tragic.

But if he were a drug user/abuser and did so very carelessly, then I cannot help but think it is a selfish act to use drugs when you have a child who depends on you for love and sustenance. I felt this way when Kurt Cobain took his own life.

I pray that there will be definitive answers and that this little girl's mother is able to shield her from what surely awaits her - a world who will want to know every little thing about her and he father.

May he rest in peace. He was quite a talent.

I posted earlier that there was no way his family was notified of his death before the media reported it. The media reported it only an hour after his body was found. Unfortunately it seems this may have been the case. I read this in a new article:

"He said the father and mother are devastated because they found out of his death through the media," said Barresi, who talked to Bell less than a half an hour after Ledger’s death.

I posted earlier that there was no way his family was notified of his death before the media reported it. The media reported it only an hour after his body was found. Unfortunately it seems this may have been the case. I read this in a new article:

"He said the father and mother are devastated because they found out of his death through the media," said Barresi, who talked to Bell less than a half an hour after Ledger’s death.

I heard Michelle Williams was in Sweden with their daughter shooting a movie and was on her way back obviously shocked and distraught last night. How sad....really just so sad.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!! this makes me sick to my stomach!!!!!! has the media no respect for the "pending notification of next-of-kin" concept!!!??????
they could have reported: "hollywood actor found dead - story to follow pending notification of next-of-kin" -

i know...a bit idealistic...but I can dream, can't I????

I can't believe his parents found out through the media...that is disgusting!

I was also watching the news last night when all of the reporters and photogs were just waiting for his body to come out...HAVE SOME RESPECT ANIMALS!

I thought that too! Like they have pictures on the internet of him in a body bag! I feel so bad for his family and Michelle Williams but most of all for their 2 yr old
