well, i'm just thinking that if he took enough of those to kill him then it might be more than the "recommended dosage" but we'll have to wait to see what comes out after the autopsy - either way, if he is taking anxiety pills then he was struggling - with life and things in general - and that's just sad - this is all i'm trying to say - IDK why people are making a bigger deal of it than it is - it is NOT, by ANY means, knocking him - my god, so many people have probs in their life - I feel BAD for him - it is not putting him down - AT ALL. trust me - VERY close people to me have similar probs - TRUST ME - i feel really bad for him if that is the case... not the other way around.
and i'm not saying anything is definite either - i'm saying "obviously" or "apparently" - i could be way off and i hope i am.
DaniRella---I understand what you're saying. The rolled up $20 bill, the empty pill bottle(s), the history of substance abuse, it does "appear" that he could have pushed the envelope a bit. I hope it was just an accident. Mixed meds with and being sick. Only time will tell.
But honestly, whatever it was that killed him, doesn't matter, he's still gone and I will still think of him as one of my favorite actors.

so sad and tragic, this poor family and that little girl now has no daddy ...
On a separate note, I find the picture above grotesque...thereare some things that should jsut be off limits for the press....pictures of the body bags of people should be one, IMO
Amen sister...to think his poor daughter could/will see this someday

yes, you are right - and i completely agree with you... well said. i just wish he would have been able to get better and overcome everything - if those things are infact true b/c i had a very close friend lose their battle with addiction - and it just breaks my heart - not only for the person but for their loved ones.

The autopsy - thus far - has been inconclusive. Here's a blurb from TVGuide.com:
"As previously reported, no illegal drugs were found on the premises, and a rolled-up $20 bill discovered near Ledger's body tested clean of drug residue. Six prescription medications recovered from the scene included pills to treat insomnia and anxiety, and an antihistamine."
Doesn't sound like someone who had problems or demons he needed to deal with.

Michelle Williams and Matilda Arrive in Brooklyn
Michelle Williams arrived in Brooklyn tonight, the day after her ex Heath Ledger was found dead in a Manhattan apartment. Williams was carrying their two-year-old daughter Matilda.
Williams was shooting her latest movie, Mammoth, in Sweden when news of Ledger's death was reported Tuesday afternoon.
The couple met while working on Brokeback Mountain and split in September after three years together.
Matilda's godmother, Williams' former Dawson's Creek costar Busy Philipps, was spotted at the house, as was Williams' mother, earlier in the day.
