Help me cook my turkey breast...
So I am going to cook a 5.5 pound turkey breast on Saturday. Do you think if I make herb butter and rub it underneath the skin and on the outside and throw it in the roasting pan with some cut up veggies and cook it, will it be okay? Will it produce juices for basting and making gravy if I do it this way? Thanks!!

Ive made it with herb butter before and what I did was put chicken stock in the bottom of the pan with some pats of butter and thats what I basted the turkey with .. Good luck!

But definitely run the turkey (under and over the skin) with the butter beforehand too!
