Help me out here....car seat related

Last year when I came to visit my parents I bought one of these car seats
External Image
But now that my son is two and a half and weighs about oh, 35 lbs, is this still going to be the appropriate car seat for him? We are only on LI for two weeks and I would hate to have to buy another one...whaddaya think? Is this the right seat for a toddler???

In my normal bolshy style, I forgot to say please and thank you.

I think that is kind of like mine...I have a 3 in 1 can be rear facing then forward facing then the base comes off for a booster seat for up to 80lbs.

If its like that it will def. be ok!

I could dig up a spare car seat if you need one. Don't buy one unless you need it for the plane.

You're staying in LI, right?
