what is it??
I just got an email saying someone has tried to access my account??
I dont have a paypal account.
What should I do?

Pay Pal is a site that you can give your credit card information to. They hold it in their files. When ever you want to purchase something from a site such as Ebay you can pay using Pay Pal. They charge your credit card. I use it. I like it because only pay pal has my info. Not the 10 companies that I have purchase stuff from.

ohh...I have my credit card info with amazon, so does that mean someone tried to hack into my account??
Because now they said I will have denied access for 72 hours

amazon and pay pal are seperate. I'm not too sure. I had a problem with ebay and pay pal once, but it was fixed immediately, before I even noticed actually. All I did was change my passwords to both accounts.

It is a scam. Delete the e-mail and DO NOT give them any information. I am pretty sure it's not linked to your Amazon account, I wouldn't worry too much
