HELP! Why Have My Eyebrows Pretty Much Stopped Growing?
I am beyond upset and don't understand what could be wrong. To be very honest, ever since I had a mix of waxing and threading down this has been the case. It probably has nothing to do with it but it's weird as it was the first time I let someone try threading. I use a great brow pencil from Anastasia but I'm beyond upset about this, and even the very little bit of hair that is growing in is so light and brittle, I'm perplexed! I did but some brow gel stuff they had at Sephora but I've yet to try it! Anyone have any recommendations for me to make my hair growth start up again in the brow area?

Latisse. my derm said it's fine to use for brows too. it really does stimulate hair growth.
eta: google latisse and eyebrows.
there are a lot of sites and posts and before/after pics.

You may have pulled out the roots too many times which can stop growth. Age unfortunately can also play a factor as well.

A bottle easily lasts me 3+ mos. I don't use the little brush, I apply it right to my lash from the bottle. I feel like you waste so much by putting it on brush first. But yes, once you stop using it, your growth returns to normal.

This can happen from too much tweezing and removal of hair. My mom's don't grow back after years of tweezing.

Do you have an under active thyroid? Loss of eyebrow hair can be a symptom.

This kind of happened to me recently after what IMO was a bad threading job. I'm hoping they grow back eventually but if not I will be using Latisse

As you get older, the brows stop growing in.
Over time, repeated tweezing or waxing damages the root and the hairs stop growing.
Love that I don't have to tweeze my brows as much anymore, since only a few stray hairs grow in.
The less I tweeze from my brows, it seems more I tweeze from my chin.
