Here's a 3rd prenatal question for you guys...PrimaCare One
I just went to pick up my prescription for PrimaCare One on Saturday. I saw that the container said it was now the generic version. I questioned why I was paying the same price for the generic.
They said that PrimaCare One has been discontinued, the company is no longer. So now they are giving the generic version. BUT, my insurance company knows this, so they are going to still charge me the regular prescription fee. You would think that I wouldn't have to pay $40 for generic, but I do.
Anyone else come across this yet?

Yes, same thing happened to me.
I didn't realize I got the generic until that night when I went to take it. I thought maybe the pharmacy was out of the Prima Care. I called the next day and they said that is what my insurance company told them to charge me.
I haven't gotten a refill yet - so I don't know if I will have to pay the same again.

I didn't realize I got the generic until that night when I went to take it. I thought maybe the pharmacy was out of the Prima Care. I called the next day and they said that is what my insurance company told them to charge me.
I haven't gotten a refill yet - so I don't know if I will have to pay the same again.
I just called my insurance company, they said that they've fixed the prescription cost to $15 in the system and to go back to the pharmacy to get reimbursed. It was Target, and I threw out my receipt. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it and give me my money back! I don't mind taking generic, but don't charge me the regular prescription price, you know?

I got mine a few weeks ago, so I guess it's too late to call and go back now. I'm due for a refill next week. If I get charged the full price again, I will call.
