Hey, look who it is- me and Emerson
who i sometimes call Summer-son...lol
greg got a couple of me and her the other day- lol, can u tell i would never be a model??! what is with that face tilt, lol- im like a skateboarder or something, giving some sort of peace sign that u cant see, hahaha
and my first new picture with my new awesome lens...i am so in love!!!!! this lens is the shizzy, and i am so mad i took so long to get it.....the sharpness, the clarity, and all unphotoshopped!!!!! its unreal, i swear... i got the 50mm 1.4 AF-S lens...(but this pic was shot with a 1.8)...

Gorgeous pics...I think I have the same lens but I have to admit I am a zoom addict so use my kit lens more which is shameful as these shots do have great clarity.

i actually returned my 80-400 lens, well, not returned, but sold it to a camera store...got the new lens...
i thought i would hate it, as i am so used to using zoom (and me and u, i never take that 18-200 off i swear)...but, hell, ill take the sharpness and clarity over missing the zoom...
and yeah, i used my flash in the bathtub one, but i bounced it behind me...and my bathroom is pretty much all white so it was a well light pic....

Great lens, I have it too!
I have given up my 18-200 (well it also doesnt work on my new camera) but even before I got my new camera I stuck with the 50mm a lot.
I did buy a new lens recently that does have zoom - and I find I work in the 50mm range often anyway!

well, you are amazing yourself!!!....and ill tell DH...
if only you heard the argument before the pic was taken- this is usually how it goes:
"hey, take a pic of me and emerson"
"okay", turns on camera "its not focusing"
"thats cuz its on manual, focus it yourself or flick the switch"
"okay" flicks switch "the pictures are coming out dark"
"your underexposed then"
"what the hell does that mean"
"UGH, just give me the camera"
"no no, i got it"
"UGH, just flick the whole thing to auto"
"fine"
then the first 2 pictures....lol
