Honestly, neither. I like Obama, he's the senator of my state, but I just don't think he's ready for it yet. He needs more experience in the economy, foreign affairs and leadership. I think having those things under his belt would give him even more credibility. I think he'd be a much better candidate in 2012.

Same here but with Hillary as VP. I dont think she would get enough votes as President & it would cost them the election.

I totally agree with this; inexperience. Didn't he run unopposed as well? I'm not sure your first major campaign with an opponant should be for the presidency.

Of the two, I would choose Obama. He is a more productive politician and seems to have excellent policy ideas.
Hilary is going to fix healthcare
I won't vote for either of them though...I would like someone to actually have done something.

Seriously. It's not as if Dubya had decades of experience - he was Governor for one and a half terms/6 years...and his governing was questionable, at best. Not surprising.

Right he was unopposed for the most part bc the republican candidate dropped out during the campaign bc of scandal (nothing new with IL politics). Then Alan Keyes got on the repulican ticket, but that was a joke.

this is a hard poll to take. The only info that most people have right now on both of them isn't complete enough to choose.
There will be many more debates about this I'm sure.
I do believe, however that Obama is a little too green for this election.
